    I believe he will play center... he reminds me of a less explosive Greg smith with more defense.

    I watched every summer league game and Tarik Black actually performed well. He's an energy guy with a defensive and rebounding presence that looks like a backup to Adrien and/or Dorsey. Summer league stash at it's best.

    According to NFL.com....

    "Kansas power forward Tarik Black got in contact with Rodgers in January when the NFL star came to a Jayhawks game and the two quickly struck up a friendship. According to Yahoo! Sports, Rodgers asked the 6-foot-9, 260-pound Black to come out and play tight end for the Packers, but the NBA Draft hopeful continues to rebuff the advances."

    I disagree. I thought he played well in summer league. Hopefully he impresses in training camp & preseason. This team needs soldiers nomo no shows dimmit !!!

    Wow! Nice to know he's at least a good athlete. Hopefully Rodgers was right and he has some decent hands unlike a previous Rocket big man (cough**Asik**cough).

    Yeah because signing a guy like Troy Daniels last year was "pointless". I'm ready to see Tarik play and see what skill set he adds to the team.

    Liked what I saw from him in summer league, can do a few minutes of dirty work down low if our biggies are hit with injuries.
