    Is that really a sewer? I know nothing about drainage but that is just where the rain water goes right? City sewage has a different line I would think.

    I think you are correct. From my understanding these drains are usually connected to a creek/pond or something like that. That's why he is catching all those fish, because they are constantly traveling through.
