    I ask this because I recently hit b-day # 32.

In kind of being retro-spective and considering what happened half a life time ago at age 16 I realized I've had the same cell number since I could drive and started working.

Got this flip phone with Houston Cellular (713 digits!) in August '98:

I think my talk plan was like 60 minutes. LOL

Since I was 16 and I am 24 now. I had it switched over when I left Verizon. I hope I don't lose it if I ever need to switch again.

Got it in 2001 through VoiceStream, which eventually turned into T-Mobile. I'll never let go of my 713 digits!

    Same. 2000 or 2001. Don't remember exactly.

Same. I got my number circa 2000 when I moved back to Houston. My parents' landline number is the same as when I was a kid, so over 30 years. Except at some point the area code was changed from 713 to 281.

I use google voice as my cell number for about 4 years. It is nice to be able to bounce the number between devices and/or landlines.

It would be 10 years now if I had not moved around to other continents.

    Had an 832.

I had Voicestream, then went to Sprint, then went to T-Mobile, then went to Cingular which switched to ATT. I've had numbers I don't even recognize anymore.

The current number is 6 years old.

I've had the same number since 1999 when I switched from a Motorola to a PrimeCo phone.

I've had this same number for 11 years, and my dad used this number for a few years before that.

Since 2002 when the company before AT&T Mobility was Cingular before that was AT&T Wireless.

Mrs. SwoLy and I have had the same numbers since then, actually about 13 years, when we were able to find CONSECUTIVE numbers (we differ only in that mine ends in a 2 and hers ends in a 3). No, I won't post or share pics of the Mrs., before you ask.
