"Much more organic than a typical zoned city".

Bull... I was was born and raised in Houston and now live in the Boston area. This seems out of touch with reality. I live in a suburb of Boston, North Andover. Over here, cookie cutter McMansions with square lots repeated endlessly do not exist. A Master planned neighborhood is the definition of cookie cutter. Up here in the northeast, neighborhoods are organic. No two properties look exactly the same. And for the city itself, Boston is leagues "livelier" than Houston.

Boston is very old. I can tell you in the suburbs of Chicago it is cookie cutter hell.

    Watched the entire video.

Zoning has it's pros and cons.

I prefer to have zoning, but that's what makes Houston unique so I'm fine with it.

No two properties look exactly the same because you got old ass houses next to new houses. And they all cost more than half a million dollars. And what do you get for that half a million dollars? 1500 sq ft.

Today I learned that Bostonians use 'leagues' as an arbitrary measurement.
