Jones potentially is an excellent prospect. We have Nola's first, one of our own, Bev, and other picks(2nd rounders). King Drew is hunting at something big, and DocRocket is bringing up Love. If you are Minnesota, you may try and wait out for Wiggins, but I don't think it happens. Morey is smart, and he is probably shopping Jones for a first rounder. Waiters/Bennett? Is there really a premier prospect there? Barnes/Lee Houston has a 22 year old Jones who is arguably the second best player listed, a long with a lotto pick and more young talent.

Only if the Rockets are only pursuing one path. Could be that we're looking at a number of different things, and the sources are all hearing different parts from their different people? Or could be all wish + a prayer type stuff.

Here is one possibility which could explain a trade to Houston for Love even though we have a weaker offer. Love tells the Wolves that he WILL ONLY re-sign with a team if he is traded to Houston. I know it's a long shot. but there may be a relationship with McHale or he may see that he is a great fit with Harden & Howard or for other "basketball reasons". Rocsfan
I think it says something when I believe ESPN insiders the least lol. Love is pretty far out there but I don't think Doc's tweet is alluding to a potential Love to Houston trade. Doc has always said he wanted the Rockets to go after Love than Melo or Bosh. His latest tweet is more mocking in a sense. A guard from PHX seems most likely. As they have a long jam at the point and need some big men. Jones would be a valuable addition to their team. Jones and the NOP pick for Dragic or Bledsoe? It would be crazy for PHX to trade Dragic but he is going to want to be paid next year if he opts out. Bledsoe has the most potential and athletic ability out of the two and I think PHX would value that more.
Doc did not say Love. Rockets prioritized Melo and Bosh over Doc thought their efforts should have been focused on KLOVE. Move backfired liked Doc predicted.
They prioritized Melo and Bosh while keeping Parsons over Love alone cause any trade for Love would have required Parsons in the deal.
Not talking about when free agency started, page prior is a quote from doc about love. It backfired like he predicted? His riddles are so crazy, he said something about bosh then said it would be alright. That was false. So what else has he done?
