I'm guessing that Parson's cap hold is similar to all of those players combined less the roster slot holds. So it would actually be a reasonable choice to make.

Miami would probably love those guys in a S&T for Bosh. I would rather send the NO pick to Miami than T.Jones.

Does Riley have the guts to stick it out? ;)

There was talk he could retire or step aside.

Same with Micky Arison handing it over to his son Nick Arison.

Windhorst's only claim to fame is reporting on what type of lunch meat Lebron ate in his sandwich for 14 years. He's a nobody. And he was badly wrong on the stuff with the Heat over the past several days. I would trust Woj and the other guys over Windhorst.

Still, not over till it's over.

How can a team of Bosh, a past-his-prime Wade, and a collection of castoffs compete in the East?

I get and agree what you're saying but the most logical decision right now is for Pat Riley to get young assets and draft picks by doing S&T for both and start over. Wade missed a third of the season last year and if it weren't for LeBron the Heat probably wouldn't have made it past the 1st Round much less the Finals.

Parsons is more important to the Rockets than Jones (by far) and since we can go over the cap to match Parsons (but not to pay anyone else), it is obvious at least to me that we should match Parsons and let Jones walk (if necessary). I'm hoping that we can keep both.

That is NOT a fact. That is a figment of your imagination. Look, if we could trade Jones for a future first...nobody would be more shocked, surprised, and HAPPY than me. But we can't. DMo and Jones are going to yield us second rounders.

No need to have someone, who isn't interested in playing for the Rockets.

If he is that stupid to not want to play here and contend for titles and make near max money then God bless him. But I don't buy this for one sec, believe in Morey. He is not going to trade away Lin if he does not have an agreement already in place for Bosh to come here. Basketball teams don't trade away assets like that without a great idea of what's in place.

Cavs, Pacers, Knicks, Hawks, Raptors, Bulls, Wizards, Nets, Hornets will all either be better then the Heat or fight them for the 8th seed.

T.Jones, Canaan, Daniels need to stay. They are young and have shown they can perform at the highest level, even if it has been a small sample size.
