    He's alos going to reward his undeserving, petty, obnoxious billionaire former boss/con man by making him hundreds of millions of more dollars, partiallly because of his inept management of a basketball team.

    Only in America can you fail upwards like Dan Gilbert.

    Everyone will root for him to pull it off - it would be one of the all time great sports stories. He essentially turns Cleveland into the home team for most basketball fans.

    I think he's playing it safe. Remains to be seen if the Cavs pull off the trade, but clearly a consideration.
