Whatever happens, this is doing nothing to repair Lebron's image and the backlash of the way he carried out "The Decision". So far this is just a really bad sequel. It should not take this long to choose a team and it's not as if much else can happen to sway his decision between now and the time he decides since virtually the entire NBA is waiting on this to finish.
Welp: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>I'm told there are no plans for a LeBron announcement by 11:00 tonight.</p>— Probasketballdraft (@Probballdraft) <a href="https://twitter.com/Probballdraft/statuses/487363151277858816">July 10, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Right? The only one I care about is Bosh, which in turn makes me care about Lebron, because Bosh follows him around like a lost puppy.
This isn't on LeBron. He's taking his time making a decision so what? This is on the media and the other free agents. It's not his fault they can't make choices for themselves
To add to my earlier guess, he might have known 1 or 2 days ago but wanted to wait for his entire camp to be over to avoid distractions to the camp and avoid the media swarm. And like I've said before I've spent more time shopping for a tv so calm down.
I understand what you're saying, but I believe he's making it worse because everyone wants to know where he plans on going.
Being a good human being means you consider how your actions affect those around you. If he was looking around at anybody but himself, he'd see exactly how much consternation he is causing. If you need to make other people wait, the considerate thing to do is try and give them an idea how long they will be waiting. For instance, if your car breaks down on the way to dinner with your family, you call and tell them you are going to be late. You don't just leave them hanging, wondering where you are. When Dwight needed some time to make a decision, he let everyone know that he was going to take the weekend to make up his mind, so people could get on with their business while he decided. Twice, now, LeBron has shown that being considerate of how his actions affect others doesn't even cross his mind. This is not as bad as "The Decision" when it comes to being inconsiderate, but it isn't good. I guess not surprising since people have been fawning on him all his life. But it still shows a lack of common courtesy.
It's the NBA. this isn't a community service or anything like that. The nba is all about strategy and putting yourself in the best position to win. This may be what lebron is doing. Screwing over other teams in order to put himself at a better advantage to win another ring. Afterall, isnt that what all players are after?
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Just spoke to Dwyane Wade, who was all smiles, he didn't say much except "Life is good."</p>— Victor Oquendo (@VictorOquendo) <a href="https://twitter.com/VictorOquendo/statuses/487369582210854912">July 10, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
He is going to screw up the Rockets plan for sure. Why Bosh has to be a second fiddle of LeBron James? Can he be a man and make his own decision of his own career for once?
of course life is good for wade, he has won championships, he is rich, and he is going to get another deal with or without lebron. either way he is good to go.
This is LeBrons life and career. He is entitled to take as much time as he wants making this decision. This isn't merely someone running late for dinner.
