If the Love trade costs us Parsons, would you still do prefer it to a Bosh deal?

Or is this merely you wanting to ensure we are not left alone at the altar when the smoke clears?

Lol at this desperation. Morey is well equipped to acquire a very good player via trade.

    If the decision is:

    Bosh & keep Parsons
    Love & lose Parsons (trade)

    I'll take Bosh/Parsons.

I think if you can S/T Parsons for Love and replace Parsons with Brewer, than you are a much better team.

If you get Bosh, and get Parsons to focus on D after he gets paid, than you are better off.

I would be happy with either or.

I want to say you know something.

You mentioned earlier about the Lamar Odom story, so obviously you have some semblance of a connection with the NBA web.

Honestly I'm torn on this. Love is younger and cheaper. But bosh is healthier, a better defender, and has more leadership qualities over love (which isn't saying much). It's a coin flip for me. In a vacuum though if both were FA's Love all the way.

It really depends what you get back besides Love. If you get a player who can hit the open three and play great defense, than you do it.

if Bosh commits we should sign him up asap and forget about Melo. the more i compare these two the more i think Bosh is much better for this team. Bosh solves almost all our weakness: PF, back-up center, stretch 4, pn'r defense, championship experience... he's also a better rebounder and almost as good a scorer as melo before becoming the 3rd option of the Miami big3. while ppl doubt if melo can co-exist w/ Harden, Bosh can fit right in our offense and only to help our other 2 superstars' game. also i believe Bosh possibly cost $1~3Mil./yr. less than melo would, a $65-70Mil./4yr. contract sounds fair for Bosh. if we can secure Bosh's signing soon we'll still have time to get some quality free agents left on the market, most likely via S&T with trade exceptions created by Asik/Lin trades: Pierce/Augustin/Gasol/Hill/Tucker/....

Still not the way I would go, but I trust Daryl has done his homework on stuff like this.
