Patrick Beverley Autograph Session: Right now and tomorrow 7/4/2014

    Got to experience something cool today!

    Beverley wrote on his Instagram that he was coming out to North Shore to play 1v1 against a girl in 11th grade from the high school. Since no one drives out to my neck of the woods in the East, I definitely had to come out. Sure enough, he gets there around 6:15 with his mom and daughter and other folks and gets ready to go.

    CF, this man shows no mercy. He starts by just talking trash to the girl telling us to not get comfortable and that it's gonna be quick. He only posts her up (she's about 5'7") so he's getting in all baskets. He blocks her shot and is like "Get that **** outta here! 2nd-team all-defense, baby!". I thought that was hilarious. The girl scores on him once and it makes him mad, so he just decides to end it. The last shot he takes, he shoots from three and is like "J-LIN!"


    The girl has to pay up 20 bucks, but he's quick to give it to someone else. He takes pics with us and signs autographs. Bev, on the court, shows no mercy, but he was real genuine and real nice when he was done.

    I really wanted to ask him about Melo/Love and his knee, but he was being rushed, so I regret not getting a chance to do that. Nonetheless, it was my first time meeting a Rocket, so I hope better things (;)a championship) are yet to come.

    Some days I wish I could be player personnel and interact with this guys. I get starstruck often, but they're just human.

    I just now figured this out. His mom's salon is in North Shore. Down the street from me. He's signing autographs there tomorrow.

    Wow, something to do here over on the East Side.

    I went, Beverley is awesome, down the earth dude.

    Bought the Wolverine shirt took a pic n he signed my Rockets poster.

    Not lotta people were there, but he was talkin to every one, took as many pics signed w/e u wanted, no charge.

    Somebody in front of me asked him something about who we gonna get i heard him say "we're gonna get somebody, we need somebody".

    I'd pay $20 every day and twice on Sunday to get humiliated by Mr. 94 Feet.

    His mom owns a salon in the neighborhood so I'm guessing while he was in our part of town visiting and signing autographs, she probably challenged him there.

    Also, one of my friends went to go meet him today and asked him about Melo and said that he feels good about Melo coming here, so take it for what it's worth...

    met him today, wasn't too bad of a crowd, about 20-25 people waiting for him

    got a pic with him, bought of a few of the shirts

    asked if he's going to Vegas for Summer League since I'll be there for the first 5 days, said he'll be out there on the 15th with Harden

    very cool guy, he interacted/talked with my 4 year old nephew for a good amount of time
