Mike is 34 years old but apparently durable (played 82 games) last season, won't cost much, and is a very efficient shooter (48.1 FG% and 45.9% 3ptFG), but does not appear to be a game changer (see WAR and raw +/-). But he is a veteran and playoff tested. By the way, Troy Daniels shoots it better: his 2013-2014 FG% is 48.4% with a very nice 48.0% from three. Mike Miller's weaknesses are rebounding (2.5 RPG) and defense (DRPM =-3.09; third worst in the league at his position). He averages far fewer rebounds than any of our starters. I know the comparison is unfair (Mike is role player) but at 6’8’’ you’d think he’d at least gather more RPG than our backup PG/SG, but he doesn’t. And he cannot be counted on to defend anybody. His weaknesses probably won't affect Morey's decision much though. If Mike becomes a Rocket, it will be his offense that brings him here.

 

That'll change if we get Melo or Love.

 

Signing with OKC may be tough depending on how much they offer Pau. Of course, this would be less of a problem if they just amnestied Perkins...

It seems we are 1 of 5 teams interested in every available free agent this year. Has anyone seen a free agent mentioned that we aren't interested in might be a better way to describe it.

Good lawd. MM looked finished 3 years ago with injuries. I've been a huge MM fan over the years but I wouldn't pay anything over the vet min for him at his age & durability.

Cleveland, if it means luring Lebron than its worth it but Denver???... OKC???... what are you thinking?
