Tony Parker emphasizing the importance of a bigger rotation.

Tony Parker is a better coach than Mchale.

I'm grateful we got off with our dignity. Popovich is running a clinic right now.

It's what Parker just said - they know how to use their BENCH

I hope the Blazers get their asses SWEPT

Parker is taking young Dame to school, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Anyone else dislike Mo Williams a whole heap lately? Obviously the incident with Daniels drew our attention to him, but whenever I see him he seems up to his annoying tricks or is whining about something.

its kinda funny to watch this game. shows our glaring weaknesses. The movement on offense and defense. double teaming LMA. Fast breaking.
Thats all on Mchale, I'm starting to take some of the blame off of harden, coach didn't put him in the best spot to flourish.

Are they just driving in like a chicken with their head cut off while players stand around at 3 line, and jones and asik wait for a jumpshot?

Or are they getting picks and the player that picks & pops out are Duncan & Diaw who are a threat as a shooter and make a defense react?

big wake up call for people in the other thread saying keep JONES lmao!!!

To be fair, the first 2 Aldridge 40 pt games he almost exclusively shot midrange jumpers. Omer didn't have trouble keeping up with him, Lma just made shots. I'm noticing this game Aldridge dribbles into the paint much farther before taking a shot.

I'm starting to feel bad Portland.

Rockets prepared them so bad for this, they thought they could just play pick up ball and jack up shots and win like they did to the Rockets.

Zach Lowe would school your ass, man. He made the point of emphasizing that people who say things like this don't understand analytics. That no one should see the Rockets loss as an argument against analytics or Moreyball because Portlan uses analytics too. The Blazers shoot a lot of midrange shots and are one of the MOST analytics-dependent teams in the league.

Analytics are more complex than just 'no midrange shots' - analytics tell Portland that LMA is best when he takes those midrange shots. and what midrange shots he should take.

FACT: EVERY team in the league knows about the general inefficiency of midrange shots. Btw, Spurs are master of OPEN midrange shots - which are very good in analytics

What's funny is that people here think the Rockets would be more competitive simply because of what happened in the regular season.

San Antonio would be hitting the Rockets right in the mouth very much like this.... Poppovich is like Belicheck. Takes away your biggest strength and exploits your biggest weakness.
