Patrick Beverley is playing so hard and frustrating his opponents with constant pressure so much that I think TENACIOUS B describes him better than anything else!
I love Patrick. He is the man. The team feeds off him. I wish Dwight had half the tenacity patrick has. The only thing I say and I say it with a bit of caution is Pat needs to tone it down a little sometimes. I think he amped up Westbrook and helped get him out of his funk. He also helped psyche the whole Thunder team. Not in my house became there attitude. I wouldn't mess with a good thing. Play hard Bev you're the man. Just play a little smarter too.

If the opposing team's fans want to call him that though, that's fine by me. Just shows he's getting under their skin! Beverley is as Tenacious as they come! Go Tenacious B!

Funny Beverley doesn't need to be sneaky and promote himself like this. His performance on the court will do that for him. I'm a big fan of the way he's playing and getting under the opponents skin. I'm also a big fan of how the team seems to be feeding off this momentum he creates and turning it into usable confidence! Go Tenacious B!
As long as ESPN and the NBA are pushing the mass marketing of the players, fans will want to give their players catchy nicks. I think it silly as hell and I dont use any of the nicks myself, but fans are gonna do what fans do. Don't think for a second this is any different than any other sports forum in existence.
