It seems like when I first got here (summer of '98), there were only like 30 or so regular posters(maybe less). The place has really exploded.
Jeesh....back in the day, we were here for the cause. We were angry and rebellious...and we were fighting for something. It was us against "The Man". Now...it's just the haute thing to do...hang out in the cc.net bbs...
Im a newbie but I love this BBS. And Tycoon, I'm up for a get together. When my ass gets settled down in Houston real soon and I get my own transportation, anytime.
I've been here a while, but I just stay in the background and watch the place grow. It's really quite amazing.
I've been here for a long while as well, mostly watching and reading (lurked for a while even before I registered). And man, this place has gotten huge compared to what it used to be. Half the time I see my user ID# I do a double-take because I never realized how small it was when I first joined.
