From CNN.com - Tough-guy actor Robert Stack dead at 84 Thursday, May 15, 2003 Posted: 11:05 AM EDT (1505 GMT) LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- Robert Stack, whose granite-eyed stare and menacing baritone spelled trouble for fictional criminals in TV's "The Untouchables" and real ones in "Unsolved Mysteries," died at his home. He was 84. --------------------------------------------------- I used to love Unsolved Mysteries and his narrative was my favorite part of the show. RIP
Oh man I cant believe it. I watch him on Lifetime too (Unsolved Mysteries) He had the spookiest voice....
"Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked in the head by an iron boot? Of course you don't--no one does--that never happens." The scene where he's walking through the airport kicking the crap out of the Jehova's Witnesses etc... is an absolute classic.
I loved the ghost stories on Unsolved Mysteries. Stack had the right voice to scare the **** out of you.
Exactly, Unsolved Mysteries was always one of my favorite shows. I couldn't watch the show late at night by myself, cuz his voice freaked me out. RIP.
