[2013-14] Western Conference Standings Thread

3rd seed by the All Star break! Who would have thought this was possible a month ago. Considering all the ups and downs, losses to scrub teams, injuries, etc...I'm ecstatic! What an accomplishment. Only 2 games behind the Spurs to take over the division and reach the 2nd seed. Hit that Nae Nae!

(The schedule after all-star break is a killer though, 5 on the road, eek.)

 

OKC is vulnerable...Im more concerned about the Clippers especially in a first round matchup...

 

Relax, Guys, we have a tough schedule coming up right after the ASW. I guess this 3rd spot might not last long. Both the blazers and clippers are not far behind us. one "L" will push us back to the 5th again. Not sure what's the reason to cheer so early. If we can hold on the 3rd spot enter into the April, I guess we have a good chance.

Rockets are now the 3rd seed.

 

If we could finish 2nd or 3rd seed this season i'd be overjoyed. That would make us a official top 5 team in the nba (record wise). If we finish 2nd in the west and ended up with a better record then the heat (unlikely), we would be 3rd best in the league.

 

Doesn't matter. We have nearly a week to brag about being the 3rd seed. I can't remember the last time a Rockets team was a 3rd seed or higher at this point in the season so I will take my week of gloating and be happy as hell about it! Good day sir...I said good day sir!

Must be hard being such a downer and please don't hit us with the realistic argument.....its ok to be happy. Obviously the season isn't over yet but you can enjoy the good play. It's gonna be ok, we'll get through this together. I promise.

Awesome. If the Rockets can stay in the 2/3 seed range, I believe we're guaranteed to make a WCF appearance and then just hope for the best against OKC or LAC.
