Maybe,but let's Face it Omer left Chicago because he Wanted to start and I am sure Morey told him that he would be the starting C since it was obvious that Dwight wouldn't Sign. With a Rockets Team with Kevin Martin and Lin being the best Players,he obviously Wanted to be Part of a strong Team that's why he signed with LA.
And there were also other Teams interested in Asik like Portland or Boston where he could Start aswell.
Anyway I think they made that promise otherwise he would Not request a trade

In other news, the Vietnam war is over!

 

The "deal is done" tweet I posted yesterday was from some guy I never heard of, though he did have NBA in his handle and googled as an internet NBA reporter, he said it was per The Boston Globe.

Woj made a tweet in reference to the deal but did not say it was done.

I would guess it actually meant that Boston would like to do a deal but this was their final offer and it would be up to Morey to find a better deal or to accept. I would also guess he will take all day today before he says OK.

Taking the Bass and Lee contract for just 1 late 1st is stupid
Morey will never do that
If this is the only option i trade asik + lee for pau and we are a major player in the 2014 free agency (lebron, carmelo). Plus gasol is a great player
He can be our key 6th man plus can help agains teams with big PF like portland or San Antonio in the playoff

 

Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

We might be over valuing Asik, and we might be undervaluing the deal,

 

Gasol would easily start on the Rockets

 

And the wrong guys won!
