    Apparently Microsoft dumped tens of thousands of Surface RT refurbs on Thanksgiving for $169

    And it was packaged as new, as far as I can tell, this thing is brand new. If it's a refurb, I would never be able to tell you that it had ever been touched before.

    It is the 32GB old version, but I just wanted to try one out, and this was a good opportunity.

    So far, I am enjoying it, much moreso than if I had paid $400 or more ;)

    That's the way I look at it.

    I feel really bad for the folks who approach bf/cm specifically to get the "best" or "biggest" steal and brag about it.
