you try way too hard to sound funny sometimes... also found these on the Nike store, its either these or the super fly's seem to be the cheapest ones. http://store.nike.com/us/en_us/pd/jordan-melo-bmo-basketball-shoe/pid-684457/pgid-1058276 Ayy idea which is better - in case any of you have any of these shoes
I just called and they are not on sale anymore at the outlet but they are still 10 bucks cheaper than the online website price at 74.97 but at ~42 they were a steal. Reasons why i picked the melos. comfortable right out of the box and good for wide feet. great cushioning and lateral support for pushoffs. Traction is very solid on all surfaces.
Thanks for calling, I appreciate that. I was actually going to call them after I got out of school today. $42 is a huge steal. Ya think it would be wiser to wait until next month's Holiday Sales before trying to buy some shoes? I am not in need of shoes immediately, and I can easily wait an additional month. And when you say the traction is very solid on all surfaces, you mean they are good for both indoor and outdoor, correct? Are the shoes actually designed for both indoor/outdoor play? Because I wouldn't want them to wear out by playing them outdoor.
IDK about performance, I would never wear these. but you are looking for ankle support, this is the ultimate support for ankles.
I used to wear Adidas, then I got a pair of Nike Hyperdunks and they are a million times better. So much lighter and more flexible while still giving the support needed. You are severely limiting yourself.
1. Your no Nike stance is quite funny given that you are okay with Jordan brand despite the fact that both are likely manufactured in the same factories and with the same materials given they are a subsidiary of Nike. 2. The best way to find out what shoes fit and feels best on your feet is to try them on and walk in them. You really should try and get to an outlet store or a store in the mall and test the shoes for yourself. As you can tell, opinions vary quite a bit.
http://gravitydefyer.com/Velocity-White-Silver?sc=17&category=14123 Reverse Trampoline sole was engineered to provide optimal support for walking, standing and light running. They absorb harmful shock and return 10-15% more energy than other footwear.
Hope this helps. Not sure what type of shoe you are looking for. There are usually a lot of other factors people purchase by; support, cushioning, cut, weight, etc. But seeing that your concerned with the brand name and the price, I think you are probably looking for a deal that will last. I'd go with the adidas Real Deal. No pun intended. Maybe even the adidas Top Ten 2000 if you feel like splurging (an extra $10). That is a lot of shoe for the price. Unfortunately the growing trend in basketball shoes is 'lightwieght' which in the manufacturers eyes actually means; cheaper to make (robots) + less materials = more profit, and on the users end = shoes don't last or injury. See all the top players that have been injured in these 'cheap' aka 'lightweight' shoes! aka Kobe, DRose, etc. FINAL-SCORE.com
Use to like the shoe but if you dislike low-tops, you won't want those. It doesn't lock in your heel like some other shoes would.
Yes, but they have a new logo now. Get the old one while you can. http://www.adweek.com/adfreak/retailers-pulling-out-over-shoes-sperm-logo-11889 "Our logo is deliberate. Our customers feel like they are getting the beginning of a new life when they try our shoes," said Alexander Elnekaveh, CEO of Gravity Defyer. "We are not embarrassed by it." New logo
