This is the thread to discuss the Astros series with St. Louis. Please use this thread for game info.

With that said I think we may lose Friday and win Saturday and Sunday. But I wouldn't complain about a sweep.

Starigthforward prediction given the way they've pitched thus far, but before the Reds series people were thinking win the first 2, then lose Jeriome's start given his first game this year. You never know what coudl happen. Moehler coudl have a great game tonight and Redding could just as easily have a mental collapse as show up strong again.

That said, we are pitching very very well to start the season. I hope it continues and that our overall hitting comes around - anyone know the record for # of games played by the prior season's RBI leader before geting his first the next season?

True dat. Robertson showed he was worthy last night, that sure did make up for that crappy performance he had last week.

He got introuble again in the 4th, but struck out the batters.

I hope Moeler (sp) will beable to pull through this one too.

    GO 'Stros!!

Castor, unsticky the Reds thread and sticky this one...

(Oh, yeah, and I think the Cards will take 2 out of 3 from us. But I hope I'm dead wrong...)

If my crafty plan to sneak into Jim Edmond's hotel room, anesthetize, amputate one or both of his legs and escape unnoticed goes off without a hitch, I think we sweep them.

Otherwise, I think they take 2 out of 3.

Make sure you get BOTH his legs. He'll still hit around .400 against them with one leg.

According to Astros.com and TVGuide.com, there is no TV tonight. Local blackout will be enforced.

Fine, the Cardinals are 0-2 when he has pitched against us, and 0-3 altogether.
