Courtney is Dwight's friend but dang if reading that doesn't make me want to throw up.

 

He is not comparing skill levels... he is comparing playing style....

but it is still a bad comparison... Courtney for Harden? lol Defensive+spot shooter = slashing+playmaking guard? no....

 

I just realized something. No matter how good Harden is this season (probably best SG in the league), he will never have votes to beat Kobe as starter in the ASG

 

I think I remember reading an article early in the year which had him saying that he took a team of nobodies to the finals or something like that. He's not the best when it comes to media lol.

 

Hedo was decent, Courtney Lee is nothing like Harden, but at least Dwight added Harden has more scoring ability. Bev to Rafer Alston, and Lin to Anthony Johnson?

He obviously was drunk or he doesn't think much of our PGs. At least Rafer Alston was a starter, Anthony Johnson was a straight up scrub. Even Dwight is trolling LOFs. Lin=Johnson instead of Jameer Nelson? LOL

 

Meh I don't see why it is a big deal. Howard has never been a Mensa candidate and was giving an interview to an Orlando paper. All that matters is that Howard plays hard and buys into the Rockets system.

 

You people are reading way too much into this. He's obviously not going to flat out say "the crew I've got now is night and day better than the team I took to the finals", at least directly to the Orlando Sentinel. That's his PR/Orlando-spin at saying "if I could take that team to the finals, it shouldn't be a stretch to believe the same could happen with this one." IMO.

I could be wrong, but don't they just go by 'guard'? He doesn't necessarily have to beat out Kobe, just Chris Paul (and Jeremy Lin trollolol).
