feed looks good and has been consistent.

 

At work and streaming to my iPhone at the moment. Quality is perfect... This is almost too good to be true.

 

Ballstreams is great! Feed has been perfect until the last 5 mins or so, a little jumpy or laggy i guess. Picture is crystal clear though.

 

Can someone explain the options at the top of the On Demand streams? What is Progressive, Flash, iStream, Watch Condensed?

 

iStream is for mobile platforms like iphone or ipad. Flash is your typical live stream. Havent checked out progressive stream, condensed version i assume eliminates commercials.

 

Adding to what was previously mentioned, Progressive streams downloads a bit of the stream as it plays. That way, if there is a network interruption or slow-down, you can continue watching (up to a point).

This is in contrast to traditional Flash streaming.

One other thing: I mentioned previously how to download games. I figured I'd let you guys know that using a download accelerator (like Internet Download Manager) seriously beefed up my dl speeds. I was able to get this morning's 3.87 GB game in about 12 min vs. almost 50 min before (avg ~4 Mb/s)

 

I watched the entire game in bed on my iPhone in the morning live. Had absolutely no problems. It's going to be a beautiful year this year. BallStreams is an... early Christmas present to ourselves?

 

Is there a way to watch the csn version and not have to watch the fsn indiana version?

 

AFAIK, there shouldn't be these issues during the regular season. Plus, they know that a significant percentage of viewers are Rox fans and would prefer the CSN feed, so he'll pick it in the future

 

CSNH was blacked out today because the game was shown on NBATV. This of course won't be a problem during the regular season. NBATV chose the Pacer feed to show. I hope next time they pick the CSNH feed.

The admin (Billy) talks to people in the chat during a game and he said it's kind of a crapshoot and it will happen in the regular season if NBA LP blacks out one of the games, then there won't be both feeds available.

That's a bummer, but some announce teams for other teams aren't so awful. I enjoyed the ones for Indiana today. They were more than fair.

 

Obviously this only works with games that are completed and no longer in progress right?

I wonder if they use International League Pass lol. ILP has all pre-season games I believe. But based off you screenshot, that feed looks nice.

 

they are simply using the feed that the league provided, which is how they get the coverage on ILP in the first place.

they probably got the Indiana feed. I wonder if they will have control of home team broadcast when the season gets under way.
