Nets... I'll take Kevin Garnett's leadership and attitude to bring the team together, as opposed to Kobe...

(And the Nets bench of Jet/AK-47/Blatche is frightening)

jamison was a 25 ppg guy with golden state, he would have been super off the bench. Kobe,Artest,Dwight were 1st team defenders in their prime

Joe Johnson and Brook Lopez are meh

All 5 lakers starters were franchise players at one point, artest was a beast with sacramento

    Dwight >>> Lopez
    Gasol < Garnett
Metta > Pierce (yes, DPOY/brawl Artest was better than Pierce)
    Kobe >>> Johnson
    Nash > Williams

Nets bench >>> Lakers bench, however you don't need to bench everyone at once, and you'd be playing a tight rotation.

Since the Lakers are much stronger up top, they win.

Steve Nash in his prime still couldnt play defense, if Deron Williams who I believe his best days will be those days in Utah were playing vs Nash, he would eat Nash alive! Nets win!

Prime Kobe is napalm to team chemistry and system offense, ask Phil and D'antoni. He's good for at least two nights of 5/25 hero ball where he ignores his 6/10 bigs. See: Lakers/Pistons, and both Lakers/Celtics series.
