    Chuys is pretty nice. Not the lowest you can go but I think it is a step below el tiempo/ pappasitos as far as price goes.

    Guadalajara Hacienda is excellent. Really good fajitas! In my opinion, much better than Pappasito's

    Just have one of the better places for lower prices.....Pappasito's has half price fajitas for 2 on Wednesday's. Some other suggestions, some of which have been mentioned:

    Pancho's (all you can eat!)
    Gringo's
    Los Tios
    Lupe Tortilla
    Mamacitas

    This is another one I don't like. They do have a cantaloupe drink that is okay, but homemade cantaloupe juice is superior.

    Truly cheap and good Tex Mex is surprisingly hard to find IMO. I like El Rey, and an under the radar Tortas El Angel on Shepherd near 11th.

    Closer to downtown, Tacos Tierra Caliente - the taco truck across from Alabama Ice House - is decent.

    A little too Lime'y for my taste sometimes. Other times spot on. Not as good as the filet fajitas at El Timepiece though
