    eh even if it were true Im not thrilled. I like Pek, but he isnt a true 4 either and brings nowhere near the defense Asik does. Hes a bulldog and light years ahead of Omer on offense but we dont really need offense.

    Have no doubt that Morey would engage in talks for ASIK (not sure who Osik is) going to Minnesota, and Pekovic going elsewhere in a S&T, however I'd be leery of Morey's true interest in Pekovic as a backup center at the price tag he is looking to get signed at.

    More than likely(assuming Morey is actually talking to Minnesota about Asik & Pekovic in a deal), there is a third team he's trying to pry an asset or quality player from in the deal.... NOT Pekovic.

    Morey is a crafty one that never passes down an opportunity to take advantage of getting value from a team that is needing to move a player, or asset to get a deal done. Wouldn't shock me at all if Morey is talking to Flip Saunders about a potential deal... but I doubt there is anything they can do to have it make sense for all parties involved.

    Trade makes no sense...asik and pekovic are similar types of players, and pek is demanding a 10 mil + contract.

    DId anyone read that article? Is the writer drunk or high? Half of it doesn't make sense or isn't relevant. And it isn't a rumor, it is a speculation..AT BEST! Really just someone's idea and I doubt there have been any discussions about this at all.
