    Since he seems rather fond of German food, I suspect it might be a blond bear. There's a brewery about a half a block over. The bear probably hit their dumpster as well, in between sausage runs.

    It could the same bear that was chasing joggers around Bear Creek Park last week.

    After months of slumming it in the alley way, eating his garbage alone, he realized if he took the dumpster back to the creek the bare-back, bear babes would be lining up for a nice moon-lite dinner

    Lol I know bears are very strong. Was just trying to put it into perspective. I can't believe bears can top out (for very short period) at over 30mph.

    I'd say not so much being polite, but being clever. Makes sense, since he wants them to load it back up the next day. Especially clever how he closes the lid again, so they won't suspect mischief occurred.
