I can't believe we are beating Dwight for doing the right thing. Who ever created the 50-50 should be fired spreading deceit and lies.
"We think Asik has potential to grow and that pairing him with Millsap would give us great flexibility should an elite player become available."
I'll probably be posting this many times in the coming season, but Morey for GM of the Year if this goes through. To go from having zero All Stars and a middling team, and then to get to two top tier players and possibly another star caliber player added soon, all without tanking and having even one top 10 pick to deal in the process???? Sweet lord.
Nice to finally move on. I didn't really want Dwight because I don't like his personality/character/insecurity/etc., but he is the best center in the NBA when he's healthy and he should be happy now that he's finally picked somewhere to play. Hopefully the FO can find good deals for Asik and Lin, or at least Asik since he's definitely out of the picture. I hope Dwight proves me wrong, but I just don't think he's a strong enough personality to lead a team into deep water. I know he took the Magic to the Finals, but the NBA was weaker then than it is now and he's changed at lot as a person since then. Again, hope he proves me wrong. Sidenote: I'm not sure Josh Smith is a very good fit so I hope they aren't planning on going after him.
Cant wait till opening day !!! New uniforms back to the ketchup and mustard would be the icing on the cake.
