    Dwight Howard a cpl years ago was the 2nd best player in basketball and had a case for being the mvp, the only question mark is his injury.

    I think acquiring LaMarcus Aldridge makes more sense than acquiring Josh Smith. Aldridge has a higher basketball IQ, a great jump shot, and a decent post game. His offense would complement Dwight's defense nicely (if we get Dwight). Rumor has it that he wants out of Portland and a deal involving Asik might pry him away. Portland will not want to let him walk for nothing. Josh Smith is a freak athlete but his poor shot selection makes me want to pull my hair out. I know Dwight is probably pushing for Josh, but the smart move would be for Aldridge assuming he is available.
