    Personally I think Lin is a "pressure" player. He focuses when the chips are down or the stakes are high, but when it's not he loses focus.

    I actually have seen a lot of competitors who are like that. I know that I was similar in some ways... when I played sub-par competition I typically played worse, but when I was against better players I would suddenly find my shot and crank up the intensity.

    I think part of that is youth, part of it is experience. The disparity between his sub-500 and .500+ team performance is so glaring that I find it hard to believe that it's concidence.

    I suspect that will smooth out as Lin matures.
