Alright, if we finish at the 7 or 8 seed, we're playing OKC or San Antonio, that much is clear(ish) for now. If we finish 6th, then we'll face Denver, LAC, or Memphis--now which team would we match up best against??

I have no idea, but here's how we've fared against each so far:
(If not noted, each team had full lineups playing)

    0-3 vs Denver
    11/07 Nuggets 93, Rockets 87
    01/23 Nuggets 105, Rockets 95
    01/30 Nuggets 118, Rockets 110
    04/06 ???

    1-2 vs LAC
01/15 LAC 117, Rockets 109* (Chris Paul DNP)
02/13 LAC 106, Rockets 96* (James Harden DNP)
03/30 Rockets 98, LAC 81* (James Harden DNP)

    1-2 vs Memphis
    11/09 Memphis 93, Rockets 85
    12/22 Rockets 121, Memphis 96
    03/29 Memphis 103, Rockets 94
    04/12 ???

Most importantly, I can't fully process these teams' wins/losses unless I know whether it's good or bad for our first round matchup! Tell me who to root for please... well, until playoffs of course.

How about we make the playoffs first. However, Morey even said he's being greedy and aiming for 6th now.

    The Clippers are whack.

We can beat their tiny bums

    In the playoff games.

With the injuries in Denver, easily the Nuggets.

The Spurs are kinda banged up too, a very winnable matchup there. Maybe better to remain as the 7th seed since San Antonio is likely to fall to #2.

Why would anyone NOT want the Clippers out of the 3? They are the perfect example of a team who thrives in talent but lacks coaching. In a game series of 7, you want a incompetent coach who will not be able to make adjustments properly and get out coached. The Clippers are just that. Nuggets will destroy us at our own game. And just the thought of going against Grizzlies is scary with Marc Gasol raping our defense.

    I'M ON IT.

I hadn't seen this specific question+poll asked yet, so sorry if I missed it.

That's my initial thought too, but something about a George Karl team, or perhaps just George Karl, scares me.
