    Yeah, the crowd was very loud (for big games), but they could vanish for other games.

    Oh man I remember that game well. I had moved to Houston a few years prior from a city that had no NBA team. I was a huge Bulls fan. I'm not ashamed to admit MJ got me watching the game in the mid 80s. That lead to a lifelong love of basketball. I was firmly a Rockets fan by '92 but I still cheered for my Bulls. I took a lot of crap for years in the 90s from all my Houston friends :D.

    The thing I remember about these Rockets Bulls matchups was Maxwell's intensity. He refused to backdown from Jordan. I loved it.

    I heard the commentator say 6 so that is where that number is coming from -- i'd trust the official stat page.

    One thing that is really fun about this video is watching Hakeem when he still had his pogo stick hops -- he dunks everything with power.

    Is there any video out there of when Jordan and Maxwell went nose to nose in a pretty awesome standoff? Mad max didn't take any crap from any player back then. Dude was crazy!
