    In his bio it says that his mom was the pt guard on the lady's basketball team.
    Anyone know her maiden name?
    When was she at Baylor?

    I have a good friend who is a Baylor alum and was in radio and did a bunch of radio broadcasts for Baylor ('81-84 time frame). I mentioned this to him and he seems to think she was at Baylor when he was there.

    Anyone have insight on this that I could pass along to him?

    Lechler was born in '76. He would've been 5-8 years old during that time period. His mom would've had to have had him in junior high/freshman year of HS or thereabouts. Possible, but unlikely.

    She's 61 so probably in the early '70s.

    I heard John "Pancakes" McClain porked Lechler's mom back at Baylor. That's why Lechler refused to give Pancakes an interview after he signed the contract.
