    Sad news breaking that Mindy McCready has committed suicide. It is always a shame when someone takes their own life and nothing can be said or done to make it any better.

    Having said that, I wonder how this will affect Roger Clemens during spring training. It has been widely reported that Roger and Mindy had an affair, even before Mindy was "of age". Whether the reports are true or not, there will certainly be issues for Roger to deal with over this over the next few weeks.

    this is not the time to bash Clemens and take attention away from the real tragedy here.

    Roger knows pitching about as well as anyone on the planet. The Astros are lucky to have him. He worked extremely hard and was very disciplined as a player. If any of our pitchers have half the work ethic and competitive drive that Roger had, then we will be in great shape.
