    But seriously, Doc's second post looks like it has nothing to do with the first post in this thread. I think Doc is seriously just trying to stir things up with the trade deadline so close. Attention whoring... lol. Well I'll eat my words if something does happen. But I'm skeptical as hell, because this guy has disappointed many times before.

    If Doc isn't blowing smoke it's obvious that whoever this is that the Rockets are chasing is going to be in Houston this weekend when the lines are open.

    "Daily Planet" (superman) is a reference to Dwight Howard. The fact that he's emphasizing that it will take time means offseason, not trade deadline. Making sure there are plenty of lines of communication I think means Allstar weekend conversations. The focus on pain means its gonna cost us. That's just my initial impression.

    Kevin Love might also referenced but it seems too brazen for Doc. He's much more subtle than that.

    I was thinking the same things. The whole it's different this time implies we wanted him before and now we are better and offer him the Asian market + championship hopes.
