Why have you not been honest and said it's like any other big city but uglier and with less things to do?

I've always said this. Huge port, two airports, huge diverse population.

After doing time in Dallas, I wouldn't even say it's a 'Texas' city...it felt more like a Midwestern city that was strangely placed in Texas.

That can be said about pretty much any large coastal city in the world.

I tried watching that documentary, but got bored 15 minutes into it.

Houston is not a waterfront city. We have an industrial port and we're a short drive away from another city actually on the waterfront. I wouldn't say that qualifies.

stop hating:) i know what you mean, but its all about definition, the port is like the second or third in the country in terms of tonnage. so to say its not a waterfront city because there is no beach is really being technical

Just watched all of it. Decent. Nothing I didn't already know. It seemed like she was trying hard to find things bad about Houston but she was pleasantly surprised.

Video really exposes how boring Houston is, and I say that with love for my hometown.

it's boring but it's home. i've always said houston is a horrible place to visit but great place to live. as another example, san antonio for me is a great place to visit but horrible place to live.
