This young girl needs professional help! I don't even think she is getting any. You don't know the damaged of a person until they get some real professional help. Sounds like this poor girl is probably been abused at some younger age.

No not at all, raised by single mom who works hard to care for her 3 kids the other two are perfectly normal, this one has supposedly always been off...problem is now at 13 she's bigger than her mom and beats up on her if she doesn't get her way....watching this Adam Lanza character gives me a creepy premonition and I wanna do something to get this girl away from her family and into the help she needs

It does sound like a difficult situation. This girl sounds like she definitely needs professional help. Does Texas have some sort of public assistance they can provide for mental health treatment without having her become a ward of the state?

Texas is known for being the worst state in the nation for providing social services. I know a family that has a child with severe autism. They have tried in vain to get help from the state, to no avail. They are on a waiting list that is 8-10 years long to get financial help. One social worker told them the best way to get help was "to move to another state".

She isn't that far away from using that knife on a sibling. It's the next step. This story reminds me about that 13 yr old girl that stabbed her 2 yr old sister to death, 3 weeks ago.

Ga. toddler killed by teen sister, police say

(CBS/AP) ATLANTA - Tyasia Jackson, 13, has been charged with stabbing her 2-year-old sister, Sasha Jackson, to death in DeKalb County, Ga. The child was stabbed multiple times and her body was found by her father behind the family's townhouse on Monday, county police spokeswoman Mekka Parish said.

The slaying occurred during the time that Tyasia Jackson was left home alone with her four younger siblings, all under the age of 5, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. At some point, Tyasia phoned her stepfather and mother saying that her 2-year-old half-sister, Sasha Jackson, was missing, the newspaper says.

When the parents returned home, the teen reportedly helped in the search for Sasha. After the body was found, police were called and when they arrived they confirmed that an assailant had stabbed the child several times.

Police ultimately took Tyasia Jackson in for further questioning and later that night the girl made a call to her stepfather, Shelton Ray, confessing to Sasha Jackson's murder, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Tyasia Jackson made her first court appearance on Tuesday.

"We love you," Tyasia's stepfather called across the courtroom to the teen. Her mother, Haneefa Ray, wept, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution says.

Tyasia Jackson will be tried as an adult.

I could edit out my original post, but I won't. I phrased it the wrong way. What I was thinking was that there was another option, that's as probably the best for the child but the hardest to make, which would be to adopt her.
