    Trade is the reason why I am an Only Fan. I don't know where my favorite player would end up.

    I'm getting to like this team a lot but I am not even sure if they plan to keep my guy. :(

    Emotion is one of the hardest thing to invest on a team.

    You will really enjoy following NBA basketball when you start being a team fan then a player fan. There is nothing wrong with being a Lin fan, I am one but one day he will retire and your team will still be here.

    What about retirement? Jeremy Lin and every other player are guaranteed to be gone some day. If I had been an Olajuwon only fan, where would I be now?

    I find it much easier in invest emotion in a team. Even if the team moves, they'll still be playing.
