    How devastating... another senseless death...
    2 thoughts:
    1. imho...if you get in a car with someone that has been drinking...its really like taking your own life...
    2. Get a taxi, dont be dumb...stop drinking and driving...Imagine if he struck an innocent family driving on the roads...this story couldve been much more tragic...

    jail time may be bad. but having to live with knowing you were responsible for something like that your entire life is by far worse.

    From what I have read, Brown was his best friend. Horrible, horrible, senseless tragedy.

    Makes the punishment decision very difficult. The man has certainly suffered a great deal already. Problem is this isn't the first offense (though nobody was hurt before).

    Horrible decision, but also a reminder that when you go out for the night, you need to make smart decisions about what car you get in because I'm sure Brown was as fully aware of the risk he was taking as Brent was aware of the risk he was taking.

    Honestly, I'm just glad they didn't kill completely innocent bystanders that had nothing to do with it. Watching Dante Stallworth catch a TD yesterday just pissed me off knowing that he killed an innocent person because of his drunken driving.

    Horrible tragedy all the way around, and drunken driving is an epidemic in this country that needs to be eradicated.
