    I missed the beginning of the game so I don't know what those situations were. But if Martin is open, he should take the shot, no questions asked. It's the contested shots as the first option that I don't like.

    but if you're gonna use this one game to make your point, what i saw from Martin was forced 3's (2-7). and Lin's misses were mainly inside, while a few of his makes were wide open 3's, and a couple of clock-winding shots

    I kind of agree that the offense shouldn't be run through Martin (but should end w/ him), but it's unfair to label Martin as a chucker/"more likely to hoist it" as if he takes shots early in the shot clock on a consistent basis.

    yea, he forced a few contested 3's. he is almost automatic if left wide open. it's in his favor to take the pass from a point guard rather than trying to create for himself.
