The 5 years the Titans had VY were fools gold and it will take them another 5 years to be good again.

They've had one losing season since drafting VY and been to the playoffs twice. If the Jets could have won in week 17, they'd have been there last year.

Only reason the Titans aren't good now is they've let too many people go on defense over the years.

Imagine if they had gotten a franchise qb instead of bud drafting vy to stick it to Houston.

They probably would have won the super bowl.

The options were Vince Young, Jay Cutler, & Matt Leinart. I'm not sure where they were supposed to draft the franchise QB. In 2008 we only lost to the Ravens because of Alge Crumpler & LenDale White's fat asses.

You can't really believe that they used the #3 pick in the draft to "stick it" to Houston.

    Cutler is clearly better.

In any case the Texans would have been set back 10 years if they drafted him.

Denver was lucky. They got rid of their crap qb despite making the playoffs last year. They knew it was fools gold to expect to win with tebow. Too bad bud didn't let fisher expunge vy.

Yes, and Cutler isn't very good. Drafting Jay Cutler would actually have been worse, since he'd probably still be our starting QB and he is a crybaby Dbag who talks trash but can't back it up.

    Instead we have Jake Locker.

I do agree that the Texans would have been set back more, since that would have been at the expense of Schaub.

That had far more to do with the defense and coaching job by Jeff Fisher than anything Kerry Collins, a temporary fill in for Vince that year, did.

Young also reiterated that he isn't broke—"If I was, I wouldn't be out here playing golf," he said—but he admitted that he has lost a lot of money that he's hoping to reclaim through several lawsuits that he's filed.

"I did get a couple of warning signs, but I trusted these guys," he said. "I was playing football, and when you're a young guy coming into the league, of course you're focused on playing football, learning the offense, fitting in with teammates."

The stars of that Texas USC game, VY, Linart, Lendale White are out of league now. Reggie Bush is just about ok. I thought those guys were to dominate NFL for a long time in their prime back then.

Reggie Bush is more than OK. He's the starting running back in Miami coming off a 1000 yard season.

He wasn't top pick worthy. He was being compared to Gale Sayers.
