After traveling around the city trying numerous Pho I have prepared my list of best Pho in the city 1. Pho Danh on veterans memorial/bammel 2. Pho Binh Trailer 3. Pho Hung on bellaire blvd 4. Pho 24 on bellaire blvd 5. Pho Ga Da Kao on bellaire blvd
Yessir, I do. WELL. I wonder what happened to the two Mexican dudes who also spoke Vietnamese and English. I don't see them there anymore. They STILL have great service there. SANDWICHES are the SCHNITZ/BOMB/BEST!!! EDIT: good catch, tellitlikeitis
I'm going to have to go with: 1. Pho Hung (the original, not the by night location Bellaire @ Wilcrest). 2. Pho Ve Dem (Bellaire between Cook and Dairy Ashford) 3. Pho Binh Trailer 4. Pho Binh by Night and this isn't pho, but if you enjoy banh mi, then I HIGHLY recommend you guys try Nguyen Ngo. It is in the same shopping strip that Lee's sandwiches is at; except it's in the back corner of the complex where the bakeries are. I haven't had a banh mi that comes anywhere close to their's. definitely get the chicken on your sandwich
I went to a Japanese place in Stillwater that was awesome, called Tokyo Bowl. It's a shabu shabu joint. It was the first time my wife and I have eaten at this kind of establishment. Needless to say we want more. Do any of you know and good shabu shabu places around town?
Depends what you're looking for. If you like Pho, there's really nothing good out there (compared to at home or what some places used to be). For rice and banh mi, I can think of a few places but dunno if I should share lol.
when i visit a vietnamese restaurant i usually bypass the Pho and order the Beef stew with the french bread. it's such an underrated dish.
