Well.. beating Mexico in Mexico City is decent but nothing to write home about in the grand scheme of things. Not really relevant IMO.

    Ehh. Not really.

From what I see, England v Ukraine is the most evenly matched game on Tuesday's round of qualifying matches.

USA plays Jamaica (again?) on Tuesday night if you want to root for the locals.

Dynamo playing Kansas City should be a good game because they are both high up in the standings. Game is on Friday night.

Moving to Premier League games on Saturday, QPR v Chelsea is going to be pretty big one to watch (from a neutral POV, we got a game against Wigan which is fairly local but nothing like QPR/Chelsea).

Sucks I couldn't get my soccer fix this weekend. At least football is back though.

Any thoughts on what's gonna happen with Neymar? I'd love to see him sporting the Chelsea blue!

Basically a lock for Barca from what I hear.

Was extremely close to signing with Real Madrid last year, but president Florez called him and held an unnecessary lecture about how he wouldn't be the star of the team and would have to fit in and ish.

President Florez killed the deal with this moronic call, otherwise Neymar would've already been with Madrid.

Contract with santos is through 2014 and right now he says he will stay there for these two years, but everything hints to him signing with Barca later.

Why is he considered a lock for Barca?

if there would be anywhere i can see him going it will be one of psg or city as they can afford the outlandish spending at the moment. Barca and Real are also possibilities but my gut tells me psg is the place where he will end up

Just rumors, but from reliable papers/journalists. Real messed up and he always made his case for only Real and Barca. Barca is the only club other than Real that he will sign for in most people's opinion. It probably will happen in 2013 or 2014, not in the next 12 months.

No way, he wants to go to a prestige club, money is not that important to him. Already earns a ton at Santos.

Barca will make room for him, trust me.

No superstar wants to join PSG, and the guys looking at prestige won't join City.

Yep Neymar will join Barca, I think Falcao may join Madrid too, or Chelsea.

Messi is his favorite player. Dani Alves is one of his best friends.

Overall his style of play fits Barca better than Real IMHO. EPL? Talk about a waste if he ended up there.

It will come down to were he wants to go because both clubs will offer a ton for him. Barca is moving towards a younger long term goal and I expect Xavi and Puyol to move elsewhere and Naymar could fit right in.

Well crap...best of luck to him.

Why would the EPL be considered a waste though?

I think it's a combination of style of play and the crap players in the EPL have to deal with from the fans and press. Prime example for me is Fernando Torres.
