3 silent movies on the critics list? I've only watched three (Nosferatu, Battleship Potempkin and Un Chien Andalou) and I could only keep my attention on the last one. Maybe in our fast paced world, my attention span is too small. Oddly, foreign language movies are not a problem and B&W is in many ways superior to color.
