Yes but not me. I used to dislike him before the Rockets won rings. But now I see where he makes those off-the-wall comments to add a little humor to the broadcast. Maybe my dislike for him back in the day was just a part of my Houston complex. Dallas?!! F*ck Dallas! Why they get so much press?!!
Complete crap. Walton was one of the only Hakeem bashers, even during the championship years. He jumped on the Yao bandwagon after the Laker game, in typical Walton fashion.
Do you suffer from a serious case of amnesia? Walton gushed over Olajuwon 10X's more than he did with Yao. You just seem to only remember the RARE times that Walton would SARCASTICALLY chastise Olajuwon. IIRC, most of his Rocket criticisms would be that they weren't feeding Olajuwon the ball even more.
If you don't get the sarcasm in that remark then you are missing what Bill Walton is all about. Feel free to provide "other examples"
i don't hate bill walton..but he's not my favorite sport broadcaster..but i do think that he's obsess..did i speel it right?..anyways..i think he's hook on Yao Ming.ha ha ha..every game i watch with walton in it..i can be sure that i will hear the name Yao Ming..
