Everything is cool with UVerse EXCEPT Video Quality. As I have said in the other thread, there's no point in buying HDTV if video quality is not as sharp as what I get with comcast. I'll switchback after 30 days.

And, I will go back to Comcast and get a business line with zero cap.

Invest in your infrastructure for christ's sake instead of pushing away more and more customers.

If they had something close to the 10/1.5 I'm getting now I'd probably go for it. I'll wait until the caps hit our area to decide.

Why are all Comcast commercials awful? The new Sam Houston ads almost make me want the astronaut back.

Okay, sorry to bump this thread but I want some more recent opinions.

I'm moving into an apartment in Houston next month.

I want an internet/cable deal. In regards to the cable, I definitely want the HBO channels and a good sports package. Which is better for my needs, Comcast or U-Verse? Or is there something else I should consider?

Another bump. Is the consensus still that Uverse is better than Comcast?

With Comcast you get Xfinity online which is amazing. Great for watching showtime, etc. while I'm away at school.

they don't. Nobody does. 1080i is the highest broadcast can handle.

Anybody in the Austin area have Uverse? I currently have TWC, but I'm moving out of my current place and would like to try a different provider.

    Any recommendations?

note for Uverse. The cable wireless is convenient but it does have to re-set itself from time to time...couple times a week. It's only out for a minute or so but it is annoying.

Just to be clear, i'm referring to the wireless TV box. The internet works great

    Grande?

TWC is expensive. Luckily, my service is heavily discounted.
