I disagree that they want to play together at all costs. I think. Umber 1 is play where they can both get max money. Number two is teaming up. Ny gets them both if they could swing it. If they had wanted to play together at all costs, Dwight wouldnt have opted in last year and walked to NY already. Also, it sounds like Deron is staying in NY - I think whether or not Dwight comes. I do support trading for Dwight if it can be done and for inv him to make the tough decision.

My money is either the super deal that lands us Williams and Howard OR we end up keeping the picks we will (I assume) trade up for and load the team with new, young, cheap talent.

    Clearly.

My thoughts here are standalone without influence, passion, or prejudice: no rumors, no hearsay, no nothing. Just me, which, in the end, might be worse.

With that said, how is that even possible, just me. Just me? No, I fall as Daryl falls, as a victim to quantum theory, two probabilities, multiple situations and yet no situation. The NBA draft 2012 is simply a manifestation of Schrödinger's cat, even with the diacritic on top.

Perfect analogy, the diacritic. It explains the Houston Rockets. What is the diaeresis and what is the umlaut?

The two originated as separate, with the diaeresis being older. Today, the umlaut and diaeresis diacritics are identical: ⟨ä⟩ represents both a-umlaut and a-diaeresis. However, the diacritic is used in other cases, where they are NEITHER diaeresis nor umlaut.

Dwight Howard: I do not want and yet, I do.
Deron Williams: I do want, but not really.
Josh Smith: I do want, but barely.
Dwight, Deron, and Josh: I do want, very much so!
But I want other things, as well:

I want what Daryl has said he wants, what his numbers want:
I want a big man that can put a blocked shot into the third row.
I want a big MAN! (yeah, ok, that sounded bad...)
    I want a man-child from Connecticut or a child-man from the Nuggets.
I also would like a man named John, Meyers, or Arnett from a draft.

I also want someone to put the basketball into the basket...PERIOD!! Moth%#%#^!!!!! Beal, Ross, Lamb from a draft.

I want something to 'hang our hat on', if that makes sense. Define who we are. Find ourselves. Who defines us? Who CAN define us?

The sad question is that I don't know if we are going to define ourselves outside of what Les wants, and that is to define us with the popular kids, the in crowd, etc... Nobody remembers who won the US Open two years ago but you remember the Unabomber.

If the Rockets were smart, IMO, they would draft Drummond, Ross/Lamb ....and/or.....Meyers, Rivers/Ross/Lamb and then trade for two other veteran players. Rebuild the team and establish a new identity. Get cocky. And wait until Montay-YoYo-nessss gets here. Dude is a cocky cat, so is Rivers, so is McGee, just saying...

This is just my opinion, as a fanatic. Of course, quantum entanglement says things are linked together beyond understanding. Spooky action at a DISTANCE! However, there is no reality until something is observed and perceived.

We are about to perceive something. Possibly something Heavenly...though it's NOT from the city of Angels.

Blow the damn thing up and gamble on the greatness of your draft pick(s).

Also "Man Child" from the Nuggets.

That feels like Javale Mcgee....he is a man, with a child's brain.

And for what it's worth, my NeNe/Jason Smith/Kenyon connect tells me that NeNe doesn't expect to be with the Wizards much longer.

Exact text to me this morn: We're packing.

    Me: Where?

    Her: :)

    Me: Red? Down South?

    Her: Not yet.

Me: With more or by himself?

    No reply from her yet.

I wonder if DM is still looking at NeNe.

I'll let you all know when I hear more.

Combining this hint with this from Chad Ford and Bill Simmons:
"FORD: With Charlotte's no. 2 pick, I'm taking Michael Kidd-Gilchrist even though the Bobcats are probably trading this pick to Cleveland for no. 4 and no. 24."

Makes me think GilCHRIST to the Rockets.

I'm not too familiar with college ball, so forgive me. Where do you get that reference in Doc's post?

    lol. I don't...I'm just wishing.

I do prefer the implication that the Rockets might very well be content to move up for a couple of very good young studs in this draft and keep them.

If Morey could swing that deal...

... they should elect him to the Hall of Fame immediately...
