    With only 12 games left in the season the Rockets can't afford to lose many games in order to make the playoffs. The Rockets are currently 29-25. With four back to backs remaining, five playoff teams, three teams fighting for our spot, and seven away games how do you think the Rockets will fare?

    We will beat the Lakers on 4 days rest and plenty of practice...plus, Rockets won't lose on Good Friday. Dragic is Catholic. May the force be with you.

    Realistically I will have to say 6-6.

    3 back to backs during the ending stretch and a 4 games in 5 nights stretch in the middle of it all.

    Gonna to be tough against a few tough opponents but endurance is going to be key. IF they can endure they CAN win.

    Hoping for 9-3.

    Heat and Mavs are near certain losses
    Split with the Nuggets
    1-1 against Suns and Jazz
    1-1 against Lakers and Blazers

    Beat the tankers.

    Will that be enough to make the playoffs?

    The Jazz would have to go 8-4 and beat the Rockets.
    The Suns would have to go 9-3 and beat the Rockets.

    I will say 7 wins should do it.

    If we go 6-6 then we leave the door open.

    We will finish in the 6th seed and win a minimum of 2 games (both at home) vs the Lakers.

    5-7 is very realistic, the schedule is tough and I don't see us beating the good teams + b2b situation is not in our favour.

    Why assume we lose to the Heat. They might be locked into their seed and rest everyone.

    I don't see the Suns as much of a threat (unless we lose to them). It will just be another grunt game against a team fighting for our spot. They play a lot of tough teams to close the season. The Jazz are the only team I see with a chance of finishing ahead of the Rockets.

    If we went 6-6 (very likely) they would only need to close the season 7-5 and win against the Rockets in Houston. A win against them is very, very important. The Toyota Center better be loud.

    All W's? haha be nice =p actually can be possible..if everyone play as hard we played against chicago...or at least win 8 more gamesss yeaaaaaa get into the playoff be happy enough.

    I don't see us losing two games against Denver on back to back nights I'm thinking both teams win at home.

    We gonna beat the Heat, the hornets twice, warriors, suns, jazz and blazers.

    One factor in this is which of these teams will still give a damn about winning the game when the Rockets play them. For example, will Miami be going all out in the 2nd to last game in the season or resting some guys for playoffs?

    Will the Hornets and Warriors still be motivated to win at the cost of lotto chances?

    It's not an easy schedule... only a few gimmes there... 6-6 is probably pretty realistic. 7-5 isn't out of reach, but will be tough!
