But it actually hurts black employees. What did Crane say, you don't want to hire a black employee because you can't fire them. That's a horrible statement but there are business owners that think that, which hurts black employees applying for a job. An application should be color blind, and employers should be free to fire employees without fear of going to court.

 

I suspect many would argue that if those responsible for hiring were colorblind, affirmative action in the workplace would be unnecessary.

 

Really really bad example. Not apples to apples (more like apples to bread). We're talking about a specific group of people set back due to discrimination. That doesn't apply to the example you used.

Also, a famine is not man-made issue. It's a natural disaster and nature doesn't discriminate.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts on the ridiculous premise of 'Reverse Racism'.
