I thought he was a senior but the FSN crew called him a Junior. Cotton had his season ended in the same game as Case last year so shouldn't Cotton get the same extra year of eligibility that case was granted?

Broadway transferred schools. Chances are, Piland is next up.

haha sorry, I should've answered the question if I was gonna snark.

Broadway announced his transfer to UL-Lafayette almost a year ago. I was under the impression Piland was gonna be the guy, but someone else here can probably give you a better idea of UH's QB picture for next season.

It'll either be Piland or Kohlhausen. But I think chances are, its Piland.

Yeah just read Broadway transfered whoops. Hopefully the system can keep producing numbers with whoever is back there...

What's the general consensus on Piland?

From what little I saw of him last year, he seemed decent , but the drop-off from Keenum was steep (although that shouldn't be read as a knock against Piland).

There'll be a drop-off from Keenum to Piland, but Piland's play next season should be much better than last season. He'll spend the offseason knowing he's gonna be the starting QB. Last season he was a freshman and the team just kinda dropped into his lap. He played reasonably well given the circumstances.

I've been told Piland looked really good in scrimmages before the season started, so I have hope.

    Don't know if posted.

A fantastic piece by Pat Forde that shines the spotlight on Keenum and UH.
