    Alabama is the only team that really has a chance of making the title game good. LSU will obliterate anyone else.

    Laugh if you want, and I know you will, if UH runs the table and goes 13-0, why not give them a shot at LSU. The best defense in the country against the best offense in the country. What's not to love? I know, they would kill UH, right? Well talk is cheap, prove it.

    All the one loss teams would need to lose again for UH to have a slight chance at playing for the title.

    That's not going to happen. Houston can win out this year and next year (assuming conference usa schedule) and still wouldn't get a national title game.

    Go ask Boise state or TCU about that.

    They basically have to impress tonight to get the votes to pass Alabama now. They'll make up some ground in the computers with a good opponent while Alabama plays Southern Georgia, but they need to gain voters too - this is their big shot on prime time to do that.

    I still think LSU will slip up they have a few real tough games if they some how go undefeated they gotta be considered one of the greatest teams ever with that schedule......

    Or bad teams in some cases. If not for a blocked FG for a TD, Alabama would be tied with Georgia Southern here midway through the 3rd quarter. An impressive Oregon performance tonight should hopefully vault them in #2.
